FROM THE EDITOR
This journal is aimed at students in schools in Hong Kong. Its purpose is to help you enjoy studying science. All the articles are written by students studying science at the University of Hong Kong (HKU). Until recently, just like you, they were at school and they were also trying to understand more about science. This is why they are the best people to write these article for you because they know what you are studying and they know how best to help you understand it.
These articles will show you that science is not just something you study at school. It is all around us and understanding how it works can be fun and it can make our lives more interesting. All the articles relate closely to what you are studying at school. To make it easier for you to pick the most relevant articles they each have a box at the top telling you which age group they are aimed at. But you are also welcome to read the articles for other age groups because there are always other interesting things to learn.
The articles are written in the kind of English that the writers think is suitable for the age group they are aiming at. So articles for lower forms use easier English than articles for higher forms. If you find the English too difficult (or too easy) please send me a message.
We would like to hear from you
