General Notes for Contributors

ATTENTION: All in-text citations and referencing MUST be done according to the CBE Citation-Sequence (C-S) style. Otherwise, your article will NOT be considered for publication.

The readers of this journal are Hong Kong school students. As their scientific knowledge varies from one school level to another, authors must state clearly the level for which they are writing.

Articles should be written in English because not all school students understand Chinese but the level of English should be appropriate for the school level at which the article is targeted.

Authors can assume readers will understand local references (places, people, customs, etc.).

Other Comments:

Articles for this journal must be attractive to school readers. Contributors who wish to have their articles considered for publication must write on topics related to the secondary science curriculum. Articles should be between 500 and 800 words long and be written clearly with supporting diagrams and pictures. Please avoid choosing a topic too similar to (or exactly the same as) those published in this journal. Do have a look at the articles of previous issues before making a final decision on your topic.

All in-text citations and referencing MUST be done in the CBE Citation-Sequence style .
