CAES0012 Academic Discussion and Presentation Skills- Exploring Japanese Subculture

This course aims to develop effective discussion and presentation strategies in English, while engaging in topics about Japanese subcultures, such as anime, otaku, and street fashion. The target skills are transferrable to many forms of oral communication, such as university courses, conferences, interviews, IELTS, etc. Students will learn and practice discussion strategies in class. They will also demonstrate their acquired presentation skills about their selected topic at the end of the course.
